BLR Awarded 2022 Amazon Literary Partnership Grant
The Community of Literary Magazine and Presses (CLMP) today announced that Bellevue Literary Review is among the list of 19 recipients of the 2022 Amazon Literary Partnership Literary Magazine Fund grants, which are provided annually to literary magazines to support their work. Originally launched with CLMP in 2019, the Literary Magazine Fund furthers Amazon Literary Partnership’s role as a supporter of literary organizations nationwide and helps to build the readership of literary magazines.
CLMP, in cooperation with the Amazon Literary Partnership, convened a grantmaking panel that included authors Leah Hampton, Oscar Hokeah, and Jane Wong. Final award decisions were made by Amazon Literary Partnership in collaboration with CLMP.
“We are honored to receive the support of the Amazon Literary Partnership,” said BLR editor in chief Danielle Ofri. “This funding will help BLR continue to explore the connective tissue between illness, healing, and the arts through storytelling and poetry, as well as to bring our journal and events to new communities and audiences.”
