BLR Writing Studio | November

BLR’s new Writing Studio is a dedicated space to write—together. Designed for those who crave structure, community, and momentum, the BLR Writing Studio brings writers into the same (virtual) room with a shared purpose: to make time for the page.

Each 90-minute session includes dedicated writing time, a brief opening check-in to name goals and challenges, and space for encouragement and accountability. It’s a supportive group of peers who understand the complexities of sustaining a writing life—and who show up to do the work alongside you.

Bring whatever you’re working on—fiction, poetry, nonfiction—or simply an idea you’ve been meaning to explore. Focus on your opening pages, revise a chapter, sketch a book outline, brainstorm a poem, or follow a thread you haven’t yet had the time to pursue.

Each month includes three sessions, and participants sign up as a cohort—committing to the full three-session block. Facilitated by a BLR editor—who will be writing too—the BLR Writing Studio is not a workshop and does not include critique or feedback. Instead, it offers what so many writers need most: protected time, collective focus, and the steady motivation that comes from returning to the page in community. Come with a project, a goal, or simply the desire to begin—and leave with new pages and a renewed commitment to your writing practice.
