Call for Submissions: Theme Issue on Migrations

Bellevue Literary Review invites submissions for an upcoming special issue on Migrations—the movements we choose, endure, inherit, resist, or imagine as part of the human story of health, illness, and healing.

We invite creative interpretations of movement across borders, across generations, across states of being. We welcome fiction, poetry, and nonfiction that explore how bodies, families, and communities change and adapt in the process. Send us work that illuminates what is carried, what is lost, and what is remade when we move toward or away from the places and things that shape our health and well-being.

Submit your poetry, fiction, and nonfiction starting September 1. BLR is accepting submission on the migrations theme as well as for our general themes of health, illness, and healing through December 31, 2026.
