BLR Art in Medicine

Join us for BLR Art in Medicine – A Creative Space for Healthcare Trainees, where emerging caregivers connect through art and story. Are you a current healthcare trainee curious about how to incorporate creativity into your clinical life? BLR’s new Art in Medicine program offers a welcoming space for clinical trainees across healthcare disciplines who are invested in creativity and reflection.
Over the course of 2026, a cohort of trainees will meet monthly online, guided by BLR leaders, to explore creative expression, narrative medicine, and community-building. Session topics include: “Clinical Creativity: The Intersection of Art and Medicine,” “Verse by Verse: Navigating Uncertainty Through Poetry,” and “The Art of Grief.” We’ll engage in mixed methods including group and peer discussions, personal writing, and creative exercises. No artistic experience needed — just curiosity and an open mind!

Application deadline: December 3, 2025, 5:00 p.m. ET
